Ginger Pear Tea Spritzer Main

This ginger-pear spritzer is not only a festive holiday mocktail to ring in the holiday cheer, but it will also support digestion and help ease stomach upset after heavy meals that the holidays are known for.

Ginger for Digestion

This refreshing spritzer contains a double dose of ginger from tea and ginger juice to add a zesty warmth and also help with digestion. Pure ginger juice can be found in health food stores or online.

The Ginger Digestion Elixir tea crystals in this spritzer are caffeine-free, for a jitter-free drink that won’t keep you up all night. It is also cold water-soluble for effortless mixing.

Want to turn this mocktail into a cocktail? Simply use your favorite sparkling wine in place of soda.

Add Seasonal Spice

Pears are an underutilized fruit in many autumn recipes in favor of apples; but their flavor is every bit as enjoyable and their juice adds a velvety texture to drinks with a sweet, mellow flavor. Look for an unfiltered pear juice with no added sugar that has a hazy color rather than clear. You can also juice fresh, ripe pears using an electronic juicer.

Honey adds a hint of sweetness to the spritzer and helps balance the spice of the ginger. Use raw honey for the least processed honey.

A sprig of rosemary not only looks festive but adds an herby aroma to each sip.  Fresh thyme or a cinnamon stick can be substituted as well.

This drink isn’t just for the holidays, sip it after a heavy meal or anytime you experience digestive upset to help soothe your tummy.
