Oolong Maple Tahini Latte Recipe

For the ultimate creamy beverage with rich nutty flavor and the sweetness of pure maple syrup, reach for this oolong latte that’s sure to be a cold weather favorite!

A Match Made in Flavor Heaven

Maple syrup has caramel-like notes that set it apart from other sweeteners like agave or honey. Its rich flavor makes it the perfect autumn and winter sweetener with a cozy aroma and flavor that makes you want to snuggle by the fire. Paired with the bold nuttiness of sesame tahini, this latte is an indulgent beverage that soothes on a cold day.

Tahini is made from ground sesame seeds and is full of rich flavor that pairs well with salty or sweet dishes. Tahini is very versatile and making its way onto the beverage scene for good reason. It creates a velvety smooth texture when added to lattes and blends easily into liquids because it’s not very thick. Just like sesame seeds, tahini can have a slightly bitter taste, which is quickly balanced by the sweetness of maple syrup.

The Best of Both Worlds

Sacred Lily Oolong tea crystals add roasted notes with no coffee beans in sight. Oolong is an interesting variety of tea because it contains both the catechin and theaflavin variety of polyphenols, which are found in green and black teas, respectively. Catechins provide immune support while theaflavins help support healthy digestion.

If that’s not enough, oolong tea contains l-theanine, providing a calm, focused energy with a moderate amount of caffeine that won’t leave you jittery.
