Tahini paste is made from ground sesame seeds. This paste is rich in minerals like zinc, copper and selenium that support a healthy immune system. 

Sesame seeds are also high in magnesium which may help reduce blood pressure and support a healthy heart. Much like other nut butters, tahini can be enjoyed in sweet or savory recipes. Drizzle tahini paste on grilled chicken, stir into brownie batter or add it to hummus or salad dressing.

Maca Tahini Matcha Latte

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 sachet Pique Sun Goddess Matcha
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • 1 tbsp tahini paste
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

  • Heat almond milk over medium-low heat in a saucepan until steaming. Stir in matcha until dissolved. Transfer to a blender and add maca powder, tahini paste, and honey. Blend until smooth and frothy.
  • Pour into a mug and sip hot.
