Double your dose of ginger with this cranberry moscow mule, perfect for holiday entertaining with plenty of festive flavor.
Spicy ginger combines with tangy cranberry in this simple, yet elegant cocktail. It’s ideal for anyone who doesn’t enjoy sweet cocktails, because you have complete control over the amount of ginger beer used and there are no syrupy add-ins.
A Fuss-Free Craft Cocktail
Mixing this cocktail is effortless due to no steeping required. Ginger tea dissolves in the cranberry juice before mixing with vodka and lime juice. If you’re making this cocktail for a crowd, it’ll be easy to whip up and the tea, cranberry, vodka and lime juice can even be mixed in a large pitcher ahead of time; just pour over ice and top with ginger beer to serve.
Ginger beer is a non-alcoholic carbonated drink full of ginger flavor and sweetness. It can be found in most grocery stores near the soda or cocktail mixers.
Tummy Taming Ginger
Holiday entertaining often comes with a lot of hearty food that can lead to bloating and discomfort. The double dose of ginger in this cocktail helps to support healthy digestion, ideal for sipping before or after a big meal or anytime an upset stomach strikes. Ginger tea also helps support the body’s natural defenses with antioxidants. Naturally caffeine-free, you can sip this tea-infused libation in the evening without any jitters.
No cocktail is complete without a garnish; a sprig of rosemary and fresh cranberries add holiday flair along with a wheel of lime for added tangy zest. Other great garnishes for aroma and visual appeal include a slice of fresh ginger, lemon or grapefruit slices and a sprig of mint leaves.
Tip: Because this cocktail has plenty of flavor, it can be turned into an equally festive mocktail by omitting the alcohol.
