This chocolate-covered berry latte is sure to curb a chocolate craving with plenty of antioxidants and without added sugar!
This frothy latte is a unique blend of black tea, cacao powder, almond milk and goji berries. Dried goji berries are sweet and tangy. After softening in the hot milk they are puréed, leaving their flavor in every sip.
High amounts of vitamins A and C make goji berries great for supporting the immune system. Add them to your regular diet by stirring them into smoothies, oatmeal, or sprinkle on yogurt.
Goji berries’ high antioxidant levels support healthy skin cell turnover, increasing collagen production and free radical repair.
Cacao powder not only adds rich chocolate flavor, but it’s also full of antioxidants called flavonoids that support healthy heart and cognitive function. Flavanols in cacao also support a positive mood by triggering the release of endorphins.
English breakfast tea has a bold robust flavor that easily takes the place of coffee in latte recipes. This tea is a blend of Ceylon and Assam tea leaves. Bold, earthy notes with a hint of malt make this black tea stand out alongside the chocolate flavors of the latte.
