Herbs to Soothe and Protect
As the weather turns cooler and sniffle season approaches, having a turmeric tea in your pantry will help support healthy immune function, joint mobility, reduce inflammation and keep gut microflora balanced. This vibrant orange root has an earthy, slightly bitter flavor that is balanced when mixed with creamy almond milk and honey.
Pairing Electric Turmeric tea with chai spices creates a potent combination that helps defend the immune system.
Cinnamon contains antiviral properties and serves as an expectorant to help loosen mucus.
Ginger is terrific for supporting healthy digestion and soothing stomach discomfort.
Clove contains a power anesthetic and antibacterial agent called eugenol that can support the immune system’s response and soothe a sore throat.
Cardamom is rich in antioxidant polyphenols that help keep the immune system functioning properly and aids in reducing inflammation.
Once the ingredients for the latte are whisked together with steaming hot milk, the latte is topped off with frothed almond milk and a dusting of cinnamon.
